They have just arrived in what they believe and hope is paradise. Raja Ampat is located in the centre of what is known as the ‘coral triangle’, which stretches from the Philippines down to Malaysia, Indonesia and over to East Timor.
Here the underwater photographers Johan Candert, Tobias Dahlin and Göran Ehlmé will be diving and filming among fish and corals, many of which are found nowhere else on earth. A paradise that has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2005. But what they encounter is anything but paradise.
